Una mostra revival anni ’70 allo studio Deodateo
Pino Deodato e Antonio Sormani, artisti protagonisti sulla scena dell’arte contemporanea da oltre mezzo secolo, si riuniscono oggi, in occasione della Art week milanese 2025, per riproporre in una storica esposizione presso lo studio di Deodato in Alzaia Naviglio grande 156 Milano, che ben si adatta a spazio galleria, tele degli anni ’70, per evocare il clima, le sensibilità sociali e culturali dell’epoca della contestazione e della fantasia al potere, in dialogo con una serie di lavori recenti, composti ancora una volta a quattro mani, come ai tempi del gruppo Contastoria, quando i due, insieme ad altri artisti europei, esponevano tra la Quadriennale di Roma e le gallerie di Parigi e Oporto, in un contesto creativo di viaggio continuo, incontri spontanei e libertà espressiva.

A 70s revival exhibition at the Deodateo studio.
Pino Deodato and Antonio Sormani, leading artists on the contemporary art scene for over half a century, come together today, on the occasion of the Milanese Art Week 2025, to propose canvases from the 1970s in a historic exhibition at the Deodato’s studio (Alzaia Naviglio Grande 156, Milan), which is well suited to a gallery space, to evoke the climate, the social and cultural sensitivities of the era of protest and imagination in power, in dialogue with a series of works recent, once again composed together, as in the times of the Contastoria group, when the two, together with other European artists, exhibited between the Rome Quadrennial and the galleries of Paris and Oporto, in a creative context of continuous travel, spontaneous encounters and expressive freedom.
